Sarah put together a nice wee birthday party for Michael on the day following his birthday. Although there were many nice party games organised like musical statues, pass the parcel and the like, the most popular game seemed to be let's-throw-the-sofa-cushions-on-the-floor-and-jump-on-them-and-the-sofa. That seems to have gone on once Sarah left the room.
Michael was very excited for the party. He didn't seem to understand that he was 4 on the Friday, but had his party on the Saturday. He didn't think he was 4 until he'd had the party.
The food and the fun seemed to be in good supply.
