Emma enjoying some light reading
The past couple of weeks have been quite busy, but quite good. Emma's started taking some tentative steps. I got her to take a few a couple of weeks ago, but now she gets pretty excited when given the chance - then gets down on all fours and crawls. She can do it, but she's not aware she can yet.
Emma's getting quite conversational as well. She's saying 'Bye' all the time when people leave (often after the door has closed). She often tries to repeat things said to her. She says things like 'Mama' and 'Dada', and seems to have mastered a variation of 'banana'.
A man came to tune the piano yesterday. He's also a qualified Astrologer. I know what you're asking yourself - surely a strange combination, and what exactly is a 'qualified' astrologer? He asked when Emma was born, and when Sarah told her, he said that she's an Aquarian. According to the guy, she'll have weak ankles and will be sensitive to light and sound. To me, the latter part is like saying "She'll like milk as a baby, and like crawling and Cbeebies". Honestly. Still, it amused Sarah.
