Today is Emma's first day at nursery.
It all went really well. No drama at all. Emma recognised her coat peg by the drum picture. Eve Blyth had told the nursery assistants that she knew Emma, and took her on a guided tour as soon as Emma got in. Also, Emma had got to know a boy called Geffen at the toddlers club this morning who was there, and was happy to help Emma get orientated.
Sarah and I filled out some paperwork with one of the nursery assistants whilst Emma went off and played. She looked like she was going to well up when we said goodbye, but to be honest, I think that was because she thought she had to leave.
Unfortunately the weather was miserable, so we had to drive down.
