I've not really done a proper blog entry in a while. I don't have an excuse.
We had a wee bit of snow in early December. Sarah and Emma made a great snowman out the front of our house, but it never got deep enough for us to actually use the sledge we get for Michael and Emma in December 2011.
We decorated the house quite early in December. Emma has since taken to redistributing the baubles around the living room. There's currently two of them on the door handle of our living room.
Michael and I both got a really nasty flu-like bug the week before Christmas. It was truly unpleasant. Luckily it had shifted in time for Christmas, and most of the Adams had already had it, so we didn't feel we were going to pass it on to anyone. Sarah and Emma also both got it once we got to Aberdeen, which I like to think helped excuse Emma's increase in grumpiness over the period.
Michael and Emma both got wonderful presents from their friends and relatives. There were too many to list or for me to remember. We left for Aberdeen with a half full car, and came back with an overflowing one.
We didn't do anything exciting over New Year. The only excitement was that someone started playing bagpipes in our street when it turned new year, and much as it was a lovely touch, it did wake up Emma.
