Michael thoroughly enjoyed his first family holiday last week. Although Bolton is not the most exciting of destinations, it provided everything that my family enjoy - good food, good shopping, good cinemas and good housekeeping!
We made the most of the leisure facilities at the hotel. Michael didn't seem so sure about the swimming at first - but he loved the jacuzzi! We ended up taking him into the spa on our last day at the hotel, even though it was for over 16s. He is over 16lbs now, but I'm not convinced that that is what the sign referred to!!
He enjoyed a week with Baxter, the family pet too, although Baxter didn't seem so sure.
The week also gave Michael a chance to get to know his uncle Alan a little better - Alan has recently returned from spending 2 years in France as a missionary.
