Michael had a special assignment from school last weekend. He had to look after the baby dragon. It looks like everyone in the class gets a shot at looking after the baby dragon for the weekend, and they have to take photos of them with the dragon wherever they go, and to put them in the baby dragon diary along with a quick explanation of what they were up to. I think it's a fantastic idea.
Michael went up to Aberdeen to visit Grandma and Granddad. He stayed overnight with baby dragon on Friday with Neil and Maggie. As you can see from the photos, baby dragon had a great weekend eating breakfast at McDonalds, getting out and about in Aberdeen. Michael was a little sad to hand back baby dragon on Monday. Michael and Emma both enjoyed having the dragon over the weekend.
The bottom photo is an example of Emma playing one of her new favourite games - chicken nuggets (i posted a video a couple of posts ago). It took me a wee while to work out what she was doing, but I worked out that she's pretending to be someone at the Drive Thru at McDonalds. Instead of asking what you'd like, though, she tells you you'd like chicken nuggets then you get to ask for the rest yourself. If you give her money for the food, you'll sometimes get the food. Sometimes she'll eat it herself.
