You may have noticed it's been a while since we last posted anything. Sarah and I have been pulling out all the stops to get Michael to stay in his own bed through the night. The regime has been that one of us takes the night shift (taking Michael back to his bed and getting him back to sleep - could take two minutes or two hours), and the other takes the early shift (he's waking up between 5.30am and 7am). We've both been really tired.
Michael really enjoyed getting up to see Clair for her birthday. Not least because he got to play on her drums for guitar hero. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be a natural, but you cannot deny his ambition!
He's also had a couple of goes at snow so far this year. We had quite a bit up in Aberdeen, and we've had some in Tullibody as well.
Michael had a vomitting bug/cold a couple of weeks ago. First we knew about it was that he came through in the morning, and the arms of his pyjamas were wet. He'd been sick all over his bed, and then was sick again as he was having breakfast. There's been a lot of that going about at the moment.
I got home the other night from work, and Michael was sitting at the table with Sarah having dinner. When I got home, he pointed at the fridge and said 'Hummus'. I thought he was trying to say thomas (as in the tank engine), but Sarah assured me that he was actually referring to the caramalised onion hummus that we had in the fridge. He'd been eating it with breadsticks all afternoon. Seems to have very developed taste for someone who's not two yet.
