nothing says christmas quite like a toddler wearing a santa hat in a shopping trolley
Christmas 2008 has been a very pleasant affair thus far. Michael hasn't really had much of a knowledge about what was going to happen, but was pretty excited once he saw everyone and it got down to the business of opening presents. So much so, that at the Adam house we had to keep him going with presents otherwise he would start opening other people's presents.
We had a good time preparing for christmas in tullibody. Michael helped decorate the tree. When we went shopping for it, there was a big statue of Santa Claus, and when we pointed to it and asked Michael who it was, he replied 'Jesus'. We'll work on that one with him.
Michael was very fond of the Fisher Price nativity set that grandma sent him. it was strangely entertaining to see him tell off the three wise men for bashing each other (which he'd just made them do), or to see him take a hammer to mary and joseph. he took those toys everywhere with him for a couple of days (even into the bath) until we realised there was a good chance he'd lose one, and after all the bother dorothy had had in obtaining them, we didn't want that to happen.
On christmas morning, we went over to my mum and dad's house in glenrothes, where michael was very excited to get his bike from granny and grandad. we didn't see him for about 30 minutes because he was out with his grandad going up and down gleneagles avenue on the bike. we later went up to clair's house in dundee to exchange presents. Following that, we drove up to aberdeen to eat and open more presents. It's hard to say what michael's favourite is, but I think it'd have to be the fisher price garage (although perhaps I'm just saying that because i chose it!)
