Michael conquers the only part of the house he'd previously not seen - the attic
New shoes - we're hoping he'll grow into them soon.
It's been a quiet couple of weeks at chateu del tullibodio. Michael's continuing to amaze us with new skills every day. His forward rolls are amazing (Sarah and I are unable to replicate his gymnastic ability), he seems to be picking up new words and associating them with new things every day. He still calls me 'mum' though, and referes to Sarah as 'Dad' intermittently.
He was unwell last weekend, and was really hot on Saturday night. When we were able to take his temperature it was 38.8 celsius, but more often than not the thermometer ended up on the floor. He'd been a little reserved for the couple of days beforehand, so we'll know to watch out for that in future as a sign of him coming down with something.
We got him a pair of wellies to allow him to splash about in the puddles. Unfortunately he doesn't like them, and is able to kick them off everytime we try and put them on. He's also very reluctant to wear a jacket or anything insulating of any nature. I think that may be the genes of Grandad Black coming through, as he doesn't own a long-sleeved shirt.
