....and some thought the king was dead. Long live the King!
What passes for entertainment in the Black Residence
Michael playing with his grandad at the park
Michael doesn't understand why the man is caught in a trap and can't walk out because he loves someone called baby too much.
(For Mormons) - So, you'd like to go to the temple, would you......?
(For non-Mormons) - I'll just have my people call your people and we can do business

How did he find that.....again.......?
At yet another park in Tullibody
Michael soaked after playing outside in the garden in torrential rain

I need to get my CV in to these people (thanks to Michael's Auntie Roz for the photo of a van she saw in London). Business is here
Honest - I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it with my own eyes, but last week at the Glen Games (street party for where we live), Elvis himself turned up and sang for about 90 minutes. Even Michael was impressed (although only when he's older will he appreciate the splender of what we experienced). What made it even more impressive is that the 5 year old who across the street from us said about Elvis "that man came and fitted our kitchen". Amazing. Edenbrook should start headhunting elvis now!
Michael is learning new words almost daily at the moment, and it's a very exciting time for us and him. He still seems more than a little confused about some of the basics (No and Yes for example, as well as thinking that "Gurt" (yoghurt) means all food), but he's coming along well. He's already having a stab at counting and the alphabet, but he's got a long way to go.
His football skills are coming along too. He got a great little football back from Barcelona as well as a (genuine) Barcelona strip with his name on the back and his grandad's number (9). He can fairly kick that ball, and seems to have settled on his right foot.
We left him at my mum and dad's yesterday whilst Sarah and I went to the cinema. When I got to the cinema I checked in with my mum and dad to see how long he cried for. They said it was about 20 minutes, and that he took them on a search of the house to see if he could find us. I felt a little bit bad, especially when we got back and he wouldn't let go of either Sarah or myself for quite a few minutes. Might have had something to do with the irn bru lollies that Isla gave him.
He's still getting up at some points in the night, although generally it's in the early morning he comes through to visit us. He's not playing Mariokart quite as much as he was before, but Sarah assures me that he's not above getting the 5 year old next door into our house by the hand, taking him to the cupboard where the mario wheel is stored, and getting him to switch on the wii so they can play.
