Reasonably nice family portrait.

Bowling!
Perhaps the only way to control him
we went to center parcs last week with sarah's family. it was a lot of fun, and michael certainly enjoyed being around so many aunties and uncles, as well as his grandma and granda, and unbelievably was excited to be around that smelly dog baxter.
He enjoyed playing at the parks, and really enjoyed the swimming pool. There were some kids slides there, which he loved. One of them was a little flume, which he went on again and again. I seemed to fall neatly into the role of flume policeman, telling the other kids to wait until he was out the other end, and stopping them from pushing in.
He really enjoyed the bowling, and after we gave him a little shot, he assured us that that wasn't enough, and wanted to bowl as often as he could.
At first he was not sure about the trailer at the back of the bike. After a while though he got into it, and more often than not would fall asleep even on short journeys. I liked cycling around with him at the back, but Sarah didn't like my bike, so more often than not she was pulling him.
Michael did make something of a faux pas down there. He was quite interested in the Soccer Circus, which was playing english-related football songs. He got really excited when "Three Lions" by the lightning seeds came on, and danced. He normally dances for a little while when he hears something he likes, but he danced through the whole song, which was just embarassing. Maybe he's swaying in his decision to play for scotland in the future, and has his eye on getting knocked out of International Tournaments in the Quarter/Semi-Finals to Germany on penalties.
