michael's tag der offenen tür

day of the open door - such a lovely german expression. we had one on saturday at my mum and dad's house, and it was great to have some people come by.

first my cousin tito and beth came by with their kids lucy and tommy. i've known beth as well for years. tommy really enjoyed playing with the fitness ball in the back garden, and mercifully him and my dad managed to not break anything too important.

sarah's friend debbie from school came by after with her son alexander. it is amazing how quickly you get comfortable with talking about baby stuff like reusable nappies.

this is big scott and vicky. vicky wasn't getting broody playing with michael. honest. scott's good with kids, altough he did get some vicious stares from people in edinburgh when he was walking down princes street with a friends son aged 3 when they both had matching coloured mohicans.

this is simmie (paul) with his kids hannah and isla. he knows what peter shilton's favourite colour is, and i once found him asleep in a cupboard in edinburgh. isla kept trying to steal michael's dummy.

this is matt. he's got two kids of his own, so was quite comfortable with michael. although his son was a lot bigger than michael was.

this is charlie. he's got twins, and another one (definately one) on the way at the moment.

Wow, a lot of familiar faces in this one, Martini... Scott looks like the bald version of Wendy here... Weird.
