michael is continuing to grow and develop at a frightening rate. the photos never seen to do him justice, so to help understand his size, Roz and Jamie wisely suggested picturing him beside an ordinary household object - a perfectly normally sized banana. honest.
He's still making lots of noises that are coming close to speech. this morning he said something that was almost "hello", but maybe sarah and i were getting a bit carried away. he definately likes it though if people make the same noises back to him.
we're trying to get him excited about going up to scotland to visit our familes next week.
he's not really understanding what that encompasses, but i'm sure he'll get excited when we get to gretna.
