Plums

We have a plum tree in our back garden, which seems to have done remarkably well despite a dismal summer.
We'd told some of our neighbours to help themselves, and we saw Logan and Harrison's granddad helping himself the other night. I told Michael and Emma how excited and happy I was to see people having some of our plums, but Emma nonetheless told him off next time she saw him. We know that because Logan and Harrison's mum told us.
A little embarrassing.

Nonetheless, Emma has eaten the majority of plums coming off the tree thus far, so probably has the most to loose.

It still is tremendously exciting to me that there's food I can pick and eat in my back garden. It's only been several years and the novelty hasn't worn off.
