Emma had her P1 assembly today.
It was great!
She was the narrator, and it had a Scottish Theme. She did a wonderful job of being the narrator.
My favourite bit was just after 2 minutes in the video, where she started to narrate, but some of the children were still making a noise. It's difficult to make out in the video, but she stopped narrating, shot them a disapproving teacher-like stare, then calmly started reading again. You can hear me laughing on the video.
It was a great assembly, and I'm happy I was able to go. I had to take the day off, but that's what holiday allowance is for!
