Michael, Emma and Sarah took advantage of the Easter weekend last week to go visit Sarah's cousin Alyson, Lee and Skye in Aix-en-Provence in southern France.
Needless to say they had a great time. Despite the early hours they had to get up and fly both to and from France, they travelled pretty well. When they got back on Monday they were reasonably tired but still functional, which was good given they'd been awake since 3 am Tullibody time.
Here's some of Sarah's photos alongside some photos from Uncle Jamie and Auntie Roz, who were also there.
Easter Bunny at Edinburgh Airport
Flying (Sarah was insistent she wasn't bringing any devices like iPads or DSs)
Sarah went to not one but two patisseries. I think we can all see how she felt about that.
Cakes!
Alyson and Lee also had other visitors, one of Lee's friends Dmitri and his wife (or partner). They have two children, who spoke reasonably good english (and french and spanish).

Easter Egg hunt #1
Emma wasn't to sure about the kids meal at a fancy french restaurant. Needless to say, chicken nuggets were not on the menu.
Cake for Alyson's birthday
Michael loved both the cat and the dog.......
....and this was his sad face he sent me when I pre-emptively said we wouldn't get one
Easter Egg hunt #2
Coming back
Sarah and Skye liked the lavender ice cream.
No-one else did.
