emma did something a bit worrying yesterday. She's still not quite mastered crawling but can note around. We were downstairs after sarah had put emma down for a nap. As usual we could hear emma moving about, but them we heard a noise i've only heard once before. It's a sickening thud followed by some serious crying. Not trying to get attention crying or i'm a bit upset crying but a wail from the depths of the soul. When i'd heard it before, i quickly realised that michael had worked out how to climb out of his cot, and that's exactly what emma had done. She was more than a little upset, but calmed down after a while. No broken bones or anything.
needless to say we've lowered the base on her cot.
