Sarah, Michael and Emma went to Butlins in Skegness with Granddad and Grandma Adam for a few days. Michael was really excited about it, and kept asking how many sleeps it was until he got there.

The journey down was apparently a bit arduous. Lots of stopping and starting, and some smoke coming out of Granddad's car, but it all worked out fine in the end.

Sarah, Granddad and Grandma couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the food. Anyone who's been on holiday with the Adam family will know that's always a principal focus. They really enjoyed it. Emma did too, but not as much as she did her Grandma feeding her peeled pears and other delicacies. Sarah enjoyed the fact that there was a soft play area in the middle of the dining bit, so she could let Michael and Emma play there whilst keeping an eye on them.

There was plenty to do there. Michael was particularly fond of the bungee trampoline. Sarah was more than a bit nervous to see how high he got on it, especially after the attendant increased the tension in the bungee ropes. He was able to jump several times his own height, but at least hadn't worked out how to do somersaults.

Michael and Emma enjoyed the various rides that were on hand. Michael was quite adventurous, and Sarah said she found some of the rides she went on with Michael a little scary herself.
