This is Michael's happy face. Pray that you never see his angry face

This is perhaps the reason it took us so long to find the house
Michael working his way into a small snack of tortilla chips
Honing his card shark skills
Michael showing us where to go on the boat
Auntie Maggie caught three fish (even though my hook was in at the same time)
He was enjoying it honest, just having difficulty smiling for the photo

Pyjamas at the lochside. Lovely

We just got back from a holiday with the Adam family halfway between tighnabruaich and kilfinnan in argyll, scotland. It was a lovely place, and michael really liked the facilities.
In particular, he enjoyed throwing stones into the loch, going fishing on the boat, playing on the trampoline and most of all partaking in a sport he and uncle jamie invented called "Michael Ball". There is no relation to the singer.
Michael Ball involves Michael sitting on a pool table and people potting the balls with him helping with his hands. There was also a variation involving him singing a song every time a ball was potted. OK - maybe there is a relation with the singer. He was also able to combine his twin loves of water pistols and swimming, in a sport which everyone was happy to play (and even let michael win at).
Sarah and I are very tired at the moment, so it was great to have other people help out with michael. If only there was some kind of enery-transfer that we could have to tap into his bottomless reserves of energy.
Speaking of bottomless, Michael picked up a nasty rash on holiday on his bum, and Sarah was quite happy to have him run about with a nappy. It was nice that the house was remote, as michael was quite happy to bounce about on the trampoline in the garden or to throw stones into the loch without any trousers or nappy on. Luckily it wasn't at times when there were loads of midges. Michael's Uncles and Aunties where happy to pop over in the boat to Tarbet to pick up some cream.
Michael also enjoyed playing snap, and had a thing for the rummikub. I hope that David got all of the pieces back.
He was very impressed by Auntie Maggie's Wii Fit board, although he did get upset when people couldn't do the ski-jump properly and ended up in a big snowball.
