Michael's had a great 2nd birthday. Despite being tired after spending too much time trying to smother Martin and I in bed the night before, Michael was very excited to play with his birthday balloons in the morning. Uncle Alan came over and Michael had great fun opening all of his presents - he loved his new books and clothes, especially some Bob the Builder magnets that currently occupy the freezer door.
Some of Michael's friends came over for a birthday lunch where we enjoyed some of Michael's favourite foods - sandwiches, quaver crisps, grapes, cheese, apple juice, breadsticks and houmous....
And of course, some birthday cupcakes!

Michael loved playing with his friends after lunch, especially with the new cars that Georgia and Olivia gave him.
Our neighbour Lyn came over after school, and we enjoyed some pizza together before Michael, exhausted but fulfilled, went to snoozeland to have nice dreams about bob the builder and cupcakes.
