michael's enjoying his time in edinburgh, and is especially enjoying going out for walks in edinburgh. there's a lot going on at the moment, but he hasn't been to see any of the shows from the fringe or festival yet, partly because he probably wouldn't appreciate them, and partly because he's quite likely to poo himself halfway through. we're likely to be here for at least another 8 weeks, but should exchange contracts on our house down south on thursday, which will allow us to put in offers for a house up here. michael's started to get a lot more mobile. he's been swimming for a second time. it felt really strange to go back to the fife institute (the fifey to those in the know). he's not quite crawling, but is getting better at rolling about to find what he wants. he's eating a lot more solids, and has a things for papaya at the moment. the cyst on his daddy's eye was threatening to come back, but the great thing about michael is that he's not bothered by things like that. he does like having a go for people if they're wearing glasses or chunky necklaces. he did have a strong hold of jessica's earrings at mark and kylie beveridge's wedding, but luckily she knows the drill already. oh, in case you ever wander what michael's daddy is looking at circa 17:40 every day, see below
