michael takes a lot of things from me - his desire to stay awake as long as possible, his love of any moving images, his general friendliness with people and his love of sharing (in his case, usually milky vommit).one thing that he definately takes from his mother, though, is his ability to fall asleep anywhere. here's some shots from yesterday, where he demonstrates that ability.
sarah and i left sarah with sally-ann terry last night, which was the first time we've left him with non-family. it was a bit nerve-wracking for us, but it was something we felt we had to do. we went to the cinema, leaving him with sally-ann and the whole terry family (who i'm pretty sure all had a good shot at playing with michael). About an hour into the film, my mobile went off with a withheld number, which quickly stopped. sarah kept asking if i thought it was the terry's, and took some persuading that it wasn't.
