i managed to eat in a restaurant for the first time in 6 months yesterday. it was great to be there. Michael had nothing to complain about as it was nothing but chicken and chips at nandos (and some olives, a salad, some corn and lots of juice). Emma seemed to like it, but wasn't allowed any spicy chicken. We'll give her a couple of months before letting her loose on it.

Uncle Dave and Auntie Deb were over for the weekend. Grandma and Alan also came by on Sunday and Grandma stayed over. It was (as always) great to have them around, and they had fun with michael and emma. Everyone had a shot of croquet in the garden.

Emma seems to have identified Michael as the person most likely to cause her harm. She gets pretty nervous when he tries to cuddle her.
