Mothering Sunday

Michael was a very good boy for mother's day. he got some nice presents for his mummy. he got her some flowers, a vase for the flowers, some plants in pots, some swiss chocolates and some fudge bars. he was also very clever, and got some fruit and nut bars for his daddy, so that his mummy didn't feel so bad about eating her chocolates (which were too good for me!), and feel compulsed to share them.

michael's still sleeping well at night. Usually between 10:30 and 5-6am. He looks incredibly cute when he's wearing clothes (as opposed to babygros, where he still looks pretty damn cute).

I shared a moment with michael last week. he was bashing away at his baby gym, and i decided to lay beside him and play with the gym to. i don't know if he appreciated the solidarity i was showing, but he turned towards me, reached out his left hand, and placed his fist next to my cheek. he left it there for a good minute, which is something he normally doesn't do. It may not sound like much, but i honestly almost started crying! maybe the sleep deprivation is getting to me.

He's doing lots of little nice things now. he recognises sarah and i at a couple of feet distance. he can follow us about at that range, and seems to like it if you make the same noises he is. he makes loads of noises, especially when he's waking up in the morning.
